شرکت Creative Assembly
شرکت The Creative Assembly Limited که تحت نام تجاری Creative Assembly آن را می شناسیم، یک توسعه دهنده ی بازی های ویدیویی در شهر Horsham کشور انگلیس است که در سال ۱۹۸۷ توسط Tim Ansell تأسیس شد. در سال های ابتدایی، این شرکت بر روی پورت بازی ها از پلتفرم های Amiga و ZX Spectrum به پلتفرم MS-DOS کار می کرد. در سال های بعد همکاری خود را با شرکت Electronic Arts آغاز کرد تا تحت نام تجاری EA Sports بازی های ورزشی این شرکت را بسازد. شرکت Creative Assembly در سال ۱۹۹۹ پس از جذب منابع مالی کافی شروع به توسعه ی پروژه مستقل خود کرد و در سال ۲۰۰۰ بازی Shogun: Total War که یک بازی استراتژی تاریخی بود را ساخت. این بازی توسط EA برای پلتفرم Windows منتشر شد. اما در سال ۲۰۰۵ خلاف انتظار همه شرکت Creative Assembly به عنوان یکی از استودیوهای زیر شاخه ی شرکت SEGA خریداری شد. همچنین Creative Assembly در سال ۲۰۱۷ استودیوی تعطیل شده ی Crytek Black Sea را به عنوان یکی از زیرشاخه های خود خریداری کرد و به Creative Assembly Sofia تغییر نام پیدا کرد.
از بازی های معروف این استودیو می توان به سری بازی های Total War، ساخت بازی Viking: Battle for Asgard برای کنسول های خانگی در سال ۲۰۰۷، ساخت عنوان بحث برانگیز Stormrise در سال ۲۰۰۹ که سازندگان قصد داشتند سیستم بازی های Total War را بر روی کنسول ها پیاده کند که چندان موفق به این کار نشدند. ساخت بازی اکشن Alien: Isolation در سال ۲۰۱۴ و نیز عنوان Halo Wars 2 در سال ۲۰۱۷ که نظرات بسیاری را به خود جلب کرد.
